Applying Kinesio Tape:
1. Prepare the Skin: Clean and dry the skin where you'll apply the tape to ensure it adheres well and avoids irritation.
2. Positioning: Position your body part appropriately. Stretch or flex the muscle/part of the body if it’s needed.
3. Cutting the Tape: Use sharp scissors to cut the tape to the desired length and shape. Rounded edges often stick better.
4. Peel and Apply: Remove the backing of the tape, being careful not to touch the adhesive. Start applying the tape with no tension at the anchor (the ends of the tape).
5. Stretching: no stretching on this specific application.
6. Activation: Rub the tape gently with your hands to activate the adhesive. This helps the tape adhere better to the skin.

Removin Kinesio Tape:
1. Timing: Ideally, remove the tape after 3-5 days. Leaving it longer may cause skin irritation or discomfort. Face tape 1-2 days!
Forehead tape only 6-12 hours.
2. Technique: Rub some oil on the actually tape. Slowly peel back one end of the tape, pulling it back over itself rather than pulling straight up to minimize discomfort.
3. Warmth: Applying some warmth (like a warm, damp cloth) to the tape can sometimes help loosen the adhesive, making removal easier and less painful.
4. Skin Care: Clean the area gently with mild soap and water after removing the tape to remove any adhesive residue. Pat dry with a towel.
5. Rest Period: Allow your skin some time without tape before reapplying to avoid irritation and allow the skin to breathe.
