I wrote this song over a year ago, recorded this music with this month, and it’s finally out! Boy, has this been a labor of love! I wrote this song about my grandparents house that was built over 190 years ago on Native American territory in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. It was the first house in their town to have electricity. It was large, but my Grandfather kept building onto it to expand it. He was a carpenter and a teacher and didn’t ever have a lot of money, but he collected things. And when I mean he collected things, I’m talking he had 50k records in his attic alone. 72 clocks in the living room, probably 25 or 30 unusable computer monitors in one of the old parlors. He’s built play houses in the attic that connected to other parts of the attic. They would go to garage sales and dumpster dive for Christmas gifts and home decor. My grandpa was a genius, but he was not a very nice man- to say the least. But he did do this one thing I’ll never forget. My grandma was allergic to her stings, so he connected the entire house to the gazebo to protect her from getting stung. At the end of his life, their house had 22 rooms. He had a mix of junk, and really cool things. After they passed during covid, his house turned into an antique mall of sorts in order to get rid of all their stuff. The house not only haunted my dreams to this day, but I talked to my siblings and they have recurring dreams of it as well. So, I wrote a song about it. I decided to play with the themes and have fun with it- after all- I love horror.

This music video couldn’t have happened without my partner, Michael, who helped me shoot and edit this video. His support means the world to me!
When I started planning out the scenes for this music video, I thought it would be perfect to have a haunted house location to film in. I called up The Chamber of Terror and told them about my idea. He listened to the song and agreed to help make it happen! I was blown away with their support. Not to mention, we had a blast making it!! If you’re looking for a good scare, they’re the place to go. I went through their experience and about had a heart attack! I had to close my eyes most of the way through!!
