ASMR: The Codex Gigas (Devil's Bible), History Facts | Ear-to-ear Whispering
The Codex Gigas is the largest medieval manuscript in the world. It is also known as the "Devil's Bible" due to its large, full-page illustration of the devil. According to the legend, it was written in a single night by a monk who sold his soul to the devil. The artistry and scope of this manuscript astound me. I cannot imagine how it would look in person.
