hey,

schools start back this week in England, my little sister is going into year 7 for the first time, I'm kinda jealous, year 7 was probably my favourite year of school. I met this cool friend, he did this presentation on sword art online for English, pretty sure we had to do one based on a book we were reading at the time. I'm certain mine was on Warrior Cats. I watched it and pretty much approached him when waiting to go into Maths. He gave me his Skype on a piece of paper. We played on this Minecraft creative server called edawg (which has completely died now, but there used to be a queue to get in, the max player count was 800 players) and there we role-played as kirito and asuna from SAO. I also remember constantly changing my skin on that server because I wanted to win skin contests. He also showed me his creative plot, he was creating the walls from Attack on Titan. I didn't watch it at the time but now looking back, he had great taste in anime, I should've watched it. Funnily enough, we never spoke at school, we were both too nervous to approach each other so we'd just stare across the classroom. At the time, flappy bird, vine, geometry dash were on everybody's phone and ebola was on the news.

That reminds me, do you guys remember this game on Minecraft called 'Deadlyfe'? Or rather, 'infection', it was a game mode where the humans would be in iron armour (or no armour at all) and would have OP bows and swords, and someone would become 'infected' like a zombie, they'd be in chainmail armour and you basically had to survive until the end of the 5 minutes. I remember doing glitches on this map called 'hijacked'. You could break a block and get up to this safe zone and nobody would be able to touch you. I went on a deep search yesterday to try and find one single server that still had the game, but I had no luck. It's kinda sad watching my childhood fade away. My little sister has had an entirely different childhood to me, it's baffling. We've almost finished watching attack on titan together now though! She's OBSESSED! In fact, she's going to cosplay hange at the next comic con we go to, and I'm currently searching for a suit, angel wings and a halo because I'm going as angel devil from chainsaw man.

I'm learning a new song on the piano, I started lessons again about a month or two ago. It's actually pretty hard. I'm getting towards the end of vital from angels of death, but I'm learning this other new song with my teacher, it's called 'time' by tony ann. I really recommend listening to it because it's so beautiful (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNLwqjFPd5E). It reminds be a bit of the song 'yuri on ice' from yuri on ice, lol, if you're confused I'm talking about Yuri's free programme song (which I can also play on the piano heheh, but it's a bit rusty now). I neglected the piano all last year but I've relearned all my old songs, besides yuri on ice, well. I didn't realise how far 15 minutes a day goes, I force myself just to do 15 minutes minimum and wow, it makes the biggest difference ever. Anyway, I'll upload a video of me playing it when I finish. :) (ALSO, I have NO CLUE how he managed the octaves in the left hand at 1:07, it's insanely hard for me to stretch this.)
Also, if you've ever wanted to learn the piano, do it, when I started I got the cheapest one I could from facebook marketplace and have been having lessons for 4 years, you can make seriously fast progress if you practice everyday and it's so much fun!

Anyway this is a super long description, it's probably not the greatest for me to overshare here, sometimes it bites me because the wrong people read this, but it's like a diary in a way now.
