I hope you’re doing well! I watched the mens free skate last night and wow… I couldn’t believe it. I feel really awful for Ilia, the pressure on him seemed to be way too much. I’m not sure if it was the ice or something in the air, but Adam Xiao, Kagiyama, something was affecting them all last night and it was a seriously intense watch. I had to look away. I really do feel like Mikhail deserved the gold though, he is a fantastic skater, he was the best that night and he had a seriously hard jump combo. I’m terrified for the women’s, but equally as excited. I’m SO excited to see Adeliya’s programs because I LOVE her Micheal Jackson (here is the link to the short she’s doing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y9COyRs3W0&t=196s) as well as her Maria program. I’m super excited to watch Mone Chiba, Amber Glenn, Kaori, honestly all of them. The competition is going to be intense this year. Mone Chiba is sooo outstanding, her skating skills have been really blowing me away.
I went to the embassy last week to pick up my visa for Japan, I’m going to language school in a month and a bit. I’m quite nervous and scared but very excited of course. No I am not going to stop ASMR!! People have been saying they’ll miss me? ;’) If anything I’ll be able to upload more because I’ll be living in a quiet place. My house is SO noisy and it the biggest hinderance to my upload schedule. ;( I can’t just make a video, I have prep my stuff during the day and wait until all my family are asleep (or away) and make videos when the house it completely silent. The walls in my house are extremely thin, I can hear practically everything around me. It’s very frustrating when I need silence. I’ve tried to record with the background noise before (and made efforts to ignore it), but when it came to editing, the background noises sounded even louder and I felt so angry and agitated. Sounds of dishes in the kitchen completely take me out of the triggers.
I really want to bring my PC to Japan, if you guys know the best way to do it let me know ;_; I’m thinking of taking it apart and bringing my ram, GPU, SSD, etc. in my suitcase, maybe shipping the motherboard and monitor? I’m thinking of buying a new shell in Japan and putting it back together. I don’t know what to do about my powersupply though. I’m gonna be super sad if I don’t have my PC, gaming is a big part of my life and a major hobby of mine, it takes my mind off everything else and I love the community. The desk in my room is also going to be SUPER small, I can’t build another one in there either (I’m pretty sure). If I did it would be a cheap Ikea one and a last resort. I’m considering some sort of arm for my monitor, because my monitor takes up most of the space on my desk currently. Please let me know if you have any advice!
On Elden Ring I've gotten 60% of achievements now :) I just got the blasphemous blade, let me know the best way to use it if you have any knowledge! :D
