Stop, breathe and allow your body to move as it so chooses. Dance, sing, bend or just exist in the moment for it is all that we truly have.
This is the full length video that I promised from yesterday. It shows my own personal morning yoga flow. What I do, depends on how I feel that day. Desire the fact that I can’t see without my glasses, i can still feel the movements, the breath and the moments between.
At 52 years of age, I’m acutely aware of the need to listen to my body and to do what feels right from a physical and psychological perspective. Yoga is much more than just the physical and it can be anything you want it to be; relaxing, invigorating or a release from the stresses of daily life. Yoga is a journey without a destination. It is beautiful and all encompassing. Yoga teaches you to respect and love every life form and to cherish each and every moment with gratitude. It does not mind if you sit in a chair or lie on the floor. Yoga does not judge nor criticise. Yoga is my life and all that I am.
