This summer was our first time traveling to the United Arab Emirates where we filmed for our series of shaves around the world.

In 2015, the first Chaps & Co Barbershop was opened in Dubai. Chris Browne, the Founder, says āAt the time there was a big gap in the market for quality barbershops in Dubai and those that did exist didnāt provide a great service or were salons so we wanted to open a shop where a man could have a drink, switch off and turn a regular chore into a pleasurable experience.ā

The barbers at Chaps & Co are recruited from all over the world, and are passionate talented people who have a true love for the barbering profession.
āI love the fact the industry is constantly evolving,ā Chris told us, āIf a barber is passionate in this industry and dedicated to grow and develop they can do very well.ā
A piece of life advice from Chris is, "keep going and try to enjoy it all.āĀ He says, "Very few things in life are easy and everyone will hit bumps in the road at times, some bigger than others but you have to keep going and not throw in the towel."
