This audio roleplay takes place when Joan is 15/16 years old and begging her local lord to grant her authorization to cross enemy's lines to reach the dauphin of France. After all, her goal is to reach the future king safely and she will need a horse.
Lord Baudricour, Lord of Vaucouleurs, initially refuses the peasant girl and her incessant demands for an escort, a horse, and a sword. Perceived as mad, the teenage girl will eventually manage to influence the local population of Vaucouleurs by foreseeing events, and praying diligently. A prophecy had already made its way around the French territories for years by now: a virgin maiden with a pure soul will save the kingdom of France, doomed by another woman (Queen Isabella).
