Every Angel in the Bible Opens With Be Not Afraid. That Is Not a Greeting. It Is a Warning. 👁️🔥

For centuries we have been given paintings. Sculptures. Stained glass windows depicting angels as beautiful, soft, luminous beings with gentle faces and golden halos.

Those images are not accurate. 🕯️

They are the domesticated version. The institutionally approved, psychologically manageable version that reduces one of the most genuinely overwhelming categories of being in the ancient world into something you can hang in a nursery.

Ezekiel encountered a being with four faces pointing in every direction simultaneously. A body covered entirely in eyes. Beside it a wheel within a wheel, also covered in eyes, animated by a living spirit, moving through dimensions human consciousness cannot follow.

He fell on his face. Not because he chose to bow. Because his body had no other available response. 🌀

Isaiah saw the Seraphim whose voices shook the foundations of the temple. Daniel encountered Gabriel and collapsed before a single word of the message could be delivered.
