A father, Dominique Goodman (43), went to a Bojangles in Palmetto, Georgia, after his daughter called him from work about a dispute.
He never made it home.
According to police, the situation escalated outside the restaurant, and Dominique was fatally shot.
A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.
