Our neck bones and muscles take so much strain every day. They support such a heavy weight that needs flexibility and strength. I see our necks as scaffolding. It needs to be erect, not leaning nor compromised. I show you how to analyse your posture, called body reading, to work out where your neck needs to be to give optimum support.
I then catalogue a series of massage techniques to bring stress relief and relaxation to the physical body, the mind and enter realms of compassion for self. This is vitally important for our mental health.
Contra-indications, ie reasons to be careful with massage, include recent injury, accident, illness or infection; contagious disease, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, open wounds or breaks. If unsure, please do consult a doctor before engaging in any of these techniques.
