Fun fact, this is based on true events. Not too long ago, I went to the park with my family, and a random dad started chatting with my partner. I was off to the side, playing with my son, and I could overhear certain things that immediately made me think of MLMs. After they finished talking, my partner told me that he was invited to this work event/seminar…I told my partner that this guy was totally in an MLM; the man was purposefully vague and it was clear that he didn’t actually want to be friends. My partner went to the seminar, and sure enough, yes, it was an MLM scheme. 😭
