Eclectic ASMR
Published 4 years ago

Hello! For anyone watching this video thank you for being a part of my very early days on YouTube! I have a passion for ASMR and I hope I can share that passion with anyone who finds this video!

The trigger assortment in this video is meant to experiment with different popular triggers and ones that I like. I include some tracing with a pen, rambling abou different things throughout the video, and reading a few pages of one of my favourite books!

ASMR is a physological response to certain stimuli present around a person. ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. It can be triggered in various ways. Sound is the most popular form on YouTube and visual triggers are often included alongside sounds. For some people it can be triggered by stepping into a warm shower, or hearing a pleasing string of notes/harmonies in songs. My favourite way to trigger my ASMR is feeling a cool breeze pass by my face. ASMR videos on YouTube are used in various ways. As sleep aids, background study noise, tools to improve focus, stress relievers, and for some ASMR videos can be a way of self soothing pain or trauma. ASMR is not inherently sexual and this video is not intended to be of a sexual nature. I encourage viewers over the age of 14 to do their own research into what ASMR videos can do for them and learn the benefits of ASMR videos. Viewers under the age of 13 should consult a parent or guardian before viewing and do research with that trusted adult to learn together about the world of ASMR.

While there is still stigma around those who consume or create ASMR videos, this is a safe space for you. I will never invalidate you for any experiences you carry with you or why you need/are curious about ASMR. Your mental health and safety takes precedence, do not let anyone shame you for seeking ways to soothe yourself. All I ask in return is that you return that same respect to me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for watching! Please do subscribe, and like the video if you enjoyed what you saw/heard. I will constantly watch the comments of my new videos and make my best effort to interact with anyone who wish to engage with me in the comments!
