Q. Why do you start from left (right) foot?
A. Eastern style reflexology starts from left while western style reflexology starts from right. Heart reflex is located in the left and western style avoids giving pressure on the heart while eastern style gives pressure on the heart for empowerment. In my arrogant opinion, you can start from either foot.
Q. Could you tell me how to deal with plantar fasciitis?
A. Stretching is great and treating a same area on the hand which is corresponded with the foot that you have pain is also good. For more details, please check this video (https://youtu.be/DPsKxslHRIM) where we discussed on planter fasciitis.
Q. Why do you start from kidney?
A. Kidney is the first element in Chinese medicine. Good for detoxification. Clearing this reflex first should result in better circulation and detoxification.
Q. What does Gori Gori mean?
A. Crunchy sound in Japanese.
