A little extra video all about the Mesoamerican Maya civilization, including facts about the (countless) pyramids they built, how they are not one people but numerous communities described under one umbrella, the famous stone cities that were almost all abandoned by 900 CE, and even how rainbows were evil in Maya mythology.

Please forgive my pronunciation; it's been a very long time since I've studied Spanish, and Maya is a little tricky to pick out. I did my best, but it's very American English.
