Wet Shave at Absalon Barbier in Nice, France 🇫🇷
While in Nice, France we found a great local barbershop owned by Annick Laborde. Annick acquired this shop location 35-years ago. It had been a men’s hairdresser for 60 years, but Annick decided to transform the shop into a men's traditional barbershop.
“I wanted to create a place with a soul in the barber tradition, with wooden elements, comfy vintage barber chair, jazz music, a place where I can give the best of myself." -Annick Laborde
Annick says her “vision of this very beautiful job combines know-how and also a very enriching human approach.” She adds, "I am lucky to have an international clientele from all backgrounds. Each day is a different story I love to live.” ❤️ Annick plans to retire in a few years, and her hope is finding someone who shares her vision and will continue building upon the history of this barbershop.
