This video does not replace seeking help from a licensed mental health professional. As I said in the video I think a great place to start is NOCD: https://www.treatmyocd.com/therapy_signup/v2?utm_source=google_ads&utm_medium=ppc&utm_campaign=12663844044&utm_adgroup=123244610147&utm_term=nocd&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiOy1BhDCARIsADGvQnAaHxQCgBOBHqp7KeYzLxd7TFTWBq3Eu4AZN4Js0SOaX01OHJoiXysaAj6cEALw_wcB

The 5 keys to recovery I discussed in this video:
1. Accepting uncertainty/cutting out compulsions/responding with "maybe, mabye not" and "I don't know" type statements
2. getting comfortable being uncomfortable, allowing youself to feel the anxiety and let it be there at any time and any place
3. do not avoid anything
4. do exposures to trigger your obsessions
5. live a relatively healthy lifestyle

These are the main things that have helped me and I hope that some of it could possibly help you too! Trust me I know it is much easier said than done, but you CAN do this! It just takes time and practice and i'm not even all the way there yet. be sure to let me know any thoughts or questions you have about OCD in the comment section below!
