Relax with me outdoors in the peaceful Finnish summer sun, surrounded by birdsong and gentle breezes. In this soft spoken ASMR video, I flip through the summer 2002 issue of Pelit magazine – a nostalgic dive into the golden age of early 2000s gaming.
We’ll explore classics like Final Fantasy X, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Soldier of Fortune II, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, the PC release of GTA III, the Spider-Man movie and game, FIFA World Cup 2002, and Neverwinter Nights. Expect light commentary, gentle page turns, and a cozy mix of humor and heartfelt memories.

An autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson. ASMR is a subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.
The term ASMR can also refer to media (usually audiovisual) meant to evoke this phenomenon, with the sensation itself being informally referred to as "tingles".
