ASMR hand movements can involve a variety of motions, such as slow, deliberate finger movements, which end up being visual stimulation. Many people (including myself) find these types of hand movements incredibly relaxing and soothing, and they can help induce a feeling of calm and relaxation.
Many different types of ASMR videos and triggers can be effective for promoting sleep, but for me, what works best is hand movements or visual triggers, because Watching slow and gentle hand movements can be visually soothing, helping to relax your mind and body, especially if I'm in an anxious state or having a stressful week.
If you prefer to use ASMR videos to focus on something, like work, gaming, reading, or drawing, (what many call the Background ASMR), this includes mouth sounds, word repetition, and some hand sounds. There is also the presence of external noises, but I hope this doesn't distract you.
I hope you are doing well, see ya 💜
