ASMR vs Music Explained More Better

I hope these beautiful visuals will fully outline why the revenue system on streaming platforms is broken when it comes to ASMR. I enjoy listening to plenty of music without any vocals, and same with ASMR. The purpose of ASMR making less money is to make it so that white noise recordings and silent recordings make less than other recordings, which makes sense. But grouping non-spoken ASMR in with silent recordings is wrong, because it takes just as much effort to make as any other kind of ASMR or music. And while "good music taking much longer to make" might be generally true, there are countless examples of an artists biggest song being one that they spent barely any time on. I know from experience that simply putting more time into a video won't make it better, it's more about knowing what you are making before you start, and then executing the vision well. The amount of effort that goes into something is irrelevant, it just matters if it's good or not.
