I really hope I managed to express myself properly in this video when I talked a little bit about Lourdes, because it’s one of those places that left me with mixed feelings...

I genuinely loved being there. The city has something special, and there were moments that felt very beautiful, emotional and meaningful. But at the same time, speaking from my own Christian perspective, I also saw things that made me a bit sad. Idk… when a place is known as something so sacred, so spiritual, so connected to faith, I guess I expected the energy to feel a little more pure somehow :(. And instead, at times, it felt like everything was constantly built around selling, collecting money, buying this, paying for that, moving people from one thing to the next pfff. Obviously, I know that’s how the world works now. Everything needs money, everything becomes business, even the most beautiful places have to survive inside the system we live in. I get it. But still… it made me a little sad to see it so clearly in a place like that.

Maybe I’m being too sensitive, maybe I’m romanticizing what I expected it to feel like, but I wanted to be honest about it because the trip really made me think pookies :)
