Hair Salon ASMR | Damaged Hair Magic Straight Transformation | Rhea Jeong
Some hair looks difficult.
This hair looked almost impossible.
When my client first arrived, I honestly did not expect such a dramatic transformation.
The hair had gone through repeated perm services, and from about 10cm below the roots, the texture became extremely uneven, dry, and spring-like. The original strength of the hair was still there, but the accumulated damage made every section react differently.
This was not a situation where one formula or one technique could solve everything.
Different sections required different decisions.
I carefully applied a two-touch process, adjusted the chemistry according to each zone, and continuously observed how the hair was responding throughout the service.
For the most fragile areas, I also used a fine mist technique to create a moisture cushion before heat styling. This helps reduce unnecessary stress on dry hair while allowing the straightening process to remain controlled and gentle.
The goal was never simply to make the hair straight.
The goal was to help the hair feel soft again.
To restore movement.
To restore shine.
To restore confidence.
When I finally finished and saw the smooth, silky reflection running through the hair, I felt the same happiness that my client felt.
Moments like this remind me why I still love this profession after all these years.
Hair is not always about beauty.
Sometimes it is about patience, responsibility, experience, and never giving up on a difficult transformation.
