ASMR Thyroid Examination | Soft Spoken Medical RP
New camera NEW camera NEW CAMERA NEWCAMERA!!!! I'm going to have to start wearing a face full of makeup with how clear this picture is, I can see the ghosts of scars from back in 2013.
A new medical examination! Dr. Calliope is going to be checking on your thyroid status in this video. Your thyroid regulates metabolism and secretes hormones, among other things (which I probably should have mentioned in the video). If your thyroid is out of whack, some pretty wonky things can happen that I wouldn't recommend looking for haha.
We'll be going through a couple questions, checking a couple of vitals, checking your hands for skin changes or a tremor, checking your face, checking your eyes and performing a couple of tests (including follow the finger/light), checking your neck and thyroid area as well as palpating your thyroid and lymph nodes, percussing your chest, listening to your thyroid with the stethoscope, checking your shins for abnormalities, testing your reflexes in your arms, and finishing with having you stand up while your arms are crossed over your chest.
