History ASMR: Marco Polo's Route to China
Hello everyone! Today we're going back to the Middle Ages to follow Marco Polo on his journey to Kublai Khan's summer residence in China. I'll give you a little background on Marco Polo's family as well as the circumstances under which the book was written, and then we're tracing the exact route through Persia, along the Silk Road.

The books are:
Philippe Ménard - Marco Polo. Die Geschichte einer legendären Reise. (originally in French: Marco Polo. À la découverte du monde. I haven't been able to find an English translation, unfortunately, because I like this one a lot.)
Uwe Oster - Atlas des Mittelalters. Von der Völkerwanderung bis zur Entdeckung Amerikas. (From what I can tell only available in German.)
This video contains soft spoken, educational ASMR intended for relaxation and learning about a historical topic. There's map tracing, book sounds and a slight Austrian accent.
