Many viewers ask, “Why is the hair already straight before the flat iron process?” The answer is simple: it is the result of approximately 2 hours of carefully controlled chemical processing performed beforehand. The hair did not start out this smooth.

At the beginning of this video, I included the client's BEFORE condition to help viewers understand the true starting point. Although many people assume Asian hair is naturally straight, this client had strong natural curls, severe dryness, rough texture, and uneven damage caused by frequent coloring over many years.

Before visiting my salon, the client was told by another salon that the hair was too damaged for magic straightening and that the service could not be performed safely. Wanting a solution, she continued searching for a salon experienced in corrective straightening and eventually came to me.

In the previous stage, a customized corrective process was performed using a 3-section analysis and a precise 3-touch application method. Different areas of the hair were treated separately according to their condition, porosity, and damage level.

This video focuses on the press work stage, where heat, moisture control, pressure, and tension are carefully balanced to reshape the hair structure after chemical processing. The goal is not simply making the hair look straight, but creating a smooth, natural, long-lasting result while protecting weakened areas as much as possible.

Every section was continuously monitored and adjusted according to the hair's response. Rather than forcing the hair straight with excessive heat, the process focused on controlled tension, gradual refinement, and preserving the integrity of damaged hair.

The entire service required approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes of focused one-on-one work from beginning to end.
