If you love the fishbowl effect & trying to figure out what's going on with your ears, that's what we're starting with in this rare trigger exam. From the indication trigger to the direct/consensual test to the vocal resonance trigger, this exam has tons of those little-used and uncommon triggers bridged together with a more common exam format. I asked the community a few months ago for their favorite rare & underutilized medical ASMR triggers and compiled a little list, and thus, this video.
This video is quieter overall than I usually do because the fishbowl effect audio levels have to be super low or the audio gets buzzy and peaked, essentially ruining it. I didn't want to go from fishbowl effect levels to getting blasted with regular video audio. Regular hearing starts coming back at 12:46.

❥ What Is ASMR? From Oxford Languages: "a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound. 'ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, and scalp massage.'"
❥ I want y'all to have a safe environment here regardless of where you come from, who you love, what you look like, you name it. I don't tolerate discrimination or hatred based on attributes you can't change like where you were born, what color you are, if you have a disability, or who you love– above all, be kind to one another. We're all just people, just trying to do our thing.
