Gâteau au chocolat
Ingredients (metric cause it's time for you special American snowflakes to do what everyone else is doing lol):
200gr chocolate
150gr butter
100gr sugar
4 med eggs
2tbsp flour
pinch of salt
Melt the butter and chocolate together, set aside. Separate eggs -
combine egg yolks and sugar, then add chocolate-butter, mix well. Add flour and salt, mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, fold into batter half at a time. Fill into 24cm baking tin lined with parchment paper (or greased and floured if you hate yourself) and bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes. Depends on your oven. Mine is literally a piece of trash so I like to err on the side of caution. The surface of your cake should look solid. Do not overbake. Then let it cool completely and serve.
