In this episode of Educational ASMR, I will talk about The Jones Act of 1920, its history and its relevance the United States shipping industry today. How it affects States such as Hawaii and Alaska, as well as US Territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam. The Jones act is a protectionist measure, with the idea of aiding the USA Maritime industry.
