In this video, weāll learn Japanese vegetable names while looking at the real veggies. Do you have the same ones in your country?
As I explain in the video, Japanese uses three writing systems: hiragana, katakana, and kanji. For words like vegetable names, youāll see many spellingsāsome in hiragana, some in katakana, some in kanji, and sometimes a mix. Itās a lot, I know! š
There isnāt a strict rule like āthis must be written in kanji.ā The versions I write are simply the most common.
To keep things simple today, just focus on the names and pronunciation. I hope this video is helpful to youāeven just a little. š„āØ
