Tonight we take a look at how Garry Kasparov uses pattern recognition in chess. In 1983 Kasparov was playing a game against Lajos Portisch, when he noticed that the position had similarities to the famous game between Lasker and Bauer played almost 100 years earlier. Kasparov used his knowledge of this game to win in brilliant style!
