asmr - painting your knees like a flapper girl!! 🎨yes, this was a real trend that was reported around the mid-1920s— though i also have a bit of a suspicion that it may have been a story run by newspapers to create outrage by the outlandish and risqué nature of it all. regardless, we do have some fabulous pictures of painted flapper knees that exist, which you should def look up if you’re interested :))
